The Minervois is in the Aude, within the region of Languedoc Roussillon. Caunes Minervois is an historic village with ancient ruins, a Benedictine Abbey and a famous marble quarry.Fifteen minutes from the Canal du Midi and twenty minutes Carcassonne airport. The village is well located for touring the area.
A traditional village house built during the 1820’s on three floors. The house retains many original features. Guests have sole use of the top floor. Large double bedroom and spacious bathroom with bath and shower. Regrettably the house is not suitable for those with impaired mobility or very young children .
