It's when you travel north and west of Beziers following the Orb valley that you really hit the beautiful areas. These are the foothills of the Black Mountains, and the landscape here is gently rolling and covered with vines. It's really quite stunning, with some truly lovely villages to go with it. Cessenon-sur-Orb is particularly nice, as is Roquebrun, St Chinean, Murviel, and St Genies de Fontadit.
