This small town's bustling centre becomes even more vibrant on Tuesdays as it is market day.
If you are looking for something a little more relaxing, then why not take a stroll around pleasant park or the Lac de Jouarres - a beautiful lake ideal spot for reading, fishing, boating, swimming, and wind surfing.
Olonzac, only a 45-minute drive from Carcassonne and even less from Narbonne and Beziers, is ideally placed for exploring this lovely region.
A 10 minute walk will take you to Homps, where you will find the Canal du Midi, which offers lots of opportunities for walking, cycling or a boat trip as well as relaxing with a drink in one of the many cafes watching the passing boats.

Steve and Linda Stewart. August 2009
'' Absolutely fabulous! I thought the house was even better than it looked in the photos - we were very happy with the accommodation.''
David & Gwen – Boston, MA, USA. August 2009
We really enjoyed our week.
The house is lovely, and Olonzac is a sweet locale with access to so many points of interest. We were truly able to relax here and take it all in.
Thanks for all the thoughtful provisions around the house. This was a vacation we won’t forget soon! |
