Roman Ampitheatres in Arles and Nimes still in use for bullfighting(no bull gets hurt) and concerts.
Pont du Gard has a 3 tier huge aquaduct with river to swim in below - safe for children if supervised - gravel beaches.
Fresh water and sea fishing
Inland boat trips into the camargue.
Abundance of restaurants too many to mention although the barge in the basin is good(1km) but not child friendly. Visit TAC TAC the only bar licensed under french law in Aigues Mortes and serves the cheapest Biere Pression plus every conceivable drink you can name. |

The house was new in 2007 in a development of 16 all with a garden/terrace area which overlooks the marina.Kyrenia has a 14 metre mooring which is available for rent. 6 adult bikes and 2 children,s bikes and 2 full size canoes are provided FOC.
If you wish to request details of boat rental costs please be aware that the skipper must have one or more of following qualifications:Power Boat Level 2,Day Skipper,Yachtmaster or CEVNI.
The patio/garden area is now all timber decked with planters and vines to give a local feel and comes complete with a set of wicker sofas,lounger and chairs to seat 8 people.
The kitchen is ultra modern and is fitted out with d/washer w/machine combination cooker/microwave and grill,2 ring induction hob, ceramic griddle and american larder fridge.
There is a webber 4 burner BBQ and professional Rotisserie system so that you can do most of the cooking outside.
Pork Beef and chicken take between 30 and 50 minutes.
There is also a smoker but you must place the wood shavings in a bucket of water 24 hours prior to placing in the smoker.A 2 bowl sink is placed on the patio so that any cleaning of fish/mussels/poultry etc will not leave smells in the kitchen.
The decked garden is furnished with enough furniture to seat 8 people.
The lounge is approx 6 x 6m and contains 2 cream leather sofas and a recliner together with a couple of wicker upholstered chairs. Satellite TV is provided to get UK TV and DVD player also available.
An extending glass table with matching chairs to seat 8 is complemented by marble coffee and side tables.
Separate air con units provide heating and cool air for ground and first floor. Additional heating via blown air fans and halogen lamp is provided during winter months although I have been out in shorts and shirt sleeves on New Years Day.
All 3 bedrooms have large double door sliding robes (2m wide to full height). All bedrooms have individual heating/cooling control.
All bedrooms have access to a balcony The master to rear and the 2 same size front bedrooms overlook the marina.
Master Bedroom has en suite shower and sink.
House bathroom has bath with shower over and twin sinks.
Both bathrooms have a large multiple rail electric towel rail.
2 further bedrooms complete the sleeping arrangements with 2 x double beds and a further single bed in both rooms supplied when required. 2 cots are also available when necessary.
Parking is on a private gated road.
The french/english speaking management team we employ are on call if you have any problems. There is lots of literature to read in order to choose where to visit.
Aigues mortes is within walking distance with markets weds and sat 8am to 12.30pm.
Grau du Roi is a fishing port within biking distance 4 km away with beaches childrens fairground and swimming pool.
Grande Motte has an excellent fairground (opens 8.30pm every night) for adults and older children plus a water park.
