Sete itself is wonderful, and the Camargue, Montpellier, Arles, Beziers, Nimes, Carcassonne, Muscat vineyards, high hills and lakes are all within easy reach (even Spain is less than two hours away). The area also boasts loads of culinary treats, including fabulous fresh fish, Italian food specialities (such as tielle - a squid and mussel pie), oyster cultivation in the etang, and a great many restaurants lining the canal and port....

A wonderful location and great renovated apartment. Ideal for a relaxing holiday in the South of France. The apartment is well equipped and an ideal for a couple or small family. A few minuites walk to the harbour and all amenities. The apartment is up several stairs so not suitable for the old, infirm or very young.
Sete beach apartment is a beautiful apartment in the heart of Sete. Situated on the second and third floor flat in an old town house in the historic centre of Sete, one minute from the very-central Place de la Mairie, the Gand Canal, the port, the fish market, many many restaurants
The apartment has been recently renovated in a fresh and modern way. It is situated in the heart of the picturesque old town and, as it faces inwards into a enclosed area of homes, it is also very quiet. The nearest beach is a 10 minute walk away. And just 5 minutes' drive away, or a 20 minute walk, is a beach that stretches for 10 miles.
There are two bedrooms - one with double bed and one with a single bed that pull out to a double bed and a bathroom (with a shower and washing machine) downstairs.
Large - nearly 50 square metre - main living room upstairs. It is bright and airy with bed settee, with velux windows on the roof and a large sliding glass door leading to a small and very private roof terrace - with views over the rooftops to the port and the inland etang (sea bay).
The living room also includes a practical open-plan kitchen in one corner. The apartment is lovely and cool as it is breezy. |
