Grau du Roi is a working fishing port in a Village setting which also hosts a fair for all ages at night as well as rides for the smaller dare devils at Babyland through the day. Provence and Marseille are around an hour and a half. Robert Trent Jones designed golf course within 10km - 3 courses to choose from. Aigues Mortes was built in the 13 century by King Louis and prospered as a coastal trading port for many years. One of it's main exports was and still is salt and the factory just outside the town is well worth a visit. Located next door to the factory is the Listel Vineyard. The town has a fortification wall extending to approx 1 mile in length surrounding the town houses and ends with the Constance tower where a poor lady was held for more than 30 years. Festivals occur on a regular basis and you should look at the literaturewe leave in the house for the porposed local activities whilst you are there. Situated in Aigues Mortes at Languedoc-Roussillon which is 30 minutes drive from Montpellier airport, this region boast sunshine 280 to 300 days of the year and is famously known as the Camargue. Steeped in history with Roman amphitheatres at Nimes and Arles and an aquaduct at Pont Du Gard. Travel alittle further and see the Ardeche Gorges. Most towns have bullrings famous for bull fights (bulls don't get hurt) and host running of the bulls through the towns at festive events.




The house is designed with insulation panels inside and outside which results in a cool interior in summer and a warm environment in winter. The complex is only around 15 minutes drive from the A9 motorway which goes from Barcelona to Italy.
