Located in the celebrated medieval town of Pézenas, on the popular, gated domaine, "Le Coteau Moliere", with a shared pool.
Medieval Pézenas is rich in history, with authentic French character. "Best in Region" Saturday market, traditional bakeries, cafés and wine bars.
The old town is a 10 minute walk.
The Mediterranean coast is about 12 kilometres from the villa. Here the choice is yours, for the quieter traditional family beach try Valras or Serignan Plage, but for more excitement and activities choose Cap d'Agde for shopping, golf, water sports, boat trips and not forgetting a huge water park (Aqua Land) suitable for all the family.
Pezenas has every amenity required for a smooth running holiday with four supermarkets, all popular banks, a plethora of good restaurants and bars and even an English shop which sells Marmite.
The centre of Pezenas is a 10-15 minute walk. Here there are many restaurants and cafe bars and a fantastic market each Saturday. Beziers is the next nearest large town, famous for its wonderful flower market held each Friday, unrivalled in the Mediterranean region.
Nearby there are many activities including horse riding, white water rafting, golf, cycling along the Canal du Midi and many others.
Montpellier is an hours drive, a lively and sophisticated city.
Carcassonne, a little longer drive, is a dreamy fortified medieval city. Then there is Barcelona a different country and culture but only 2.5 hours away. |
