Put well beaten eggs, milk & sugar into a double saucepan (Bain-Marie)
When it thickens, add nutmeg, cinnamon, etc and, of course, booze of your choice: dark Rum or Brandy to taste.
Remembering to taste/test several times....... Then fall over.
