Historical and art guided sightseeing tours in Languedoc, south France |
There's so much to see in Languedoc, and so much of it has such an intricate history, that having an expert guide on hand to explain it to you can mean you get so much more out of the experience. The history of the region is impressive - spanning neolithic cave drawings, to the Greeks at Agde, Roman ruins of Nîmes, spectacular Cathar castles of the 11th century and other medieval forts and abbeys. (Click here to find out more about what there is to see in Languedoc.)
The guided sightseeing tours available in the Languedoc region are listed below. As well as giving you access to expert knowledge, your guides will also be able to make sure you visit only the best sites on offer, avoiding the less interesting sites that scatter the region.
