Montpellier is Languedoc's largest airport, with flights to more citiies in more countries than any other. Flights to Montpellier are relatively frequent, as the city is Langeudoc's largest and growing fast.
Montpellier airport is located between Montpellier itself and the coast, and is only about 10 minutes by car to the city centre. Regular shuttle busses ply their way to and from the city and the airport, and at €4.80 are far cheaper than taxis, who can sometimes charge exhorbitant rates.
The airport is small-ish and quite close to the city centre. We can recommend the restaurant upstairs.
