Flights to Girona, Spain- from the UK, Ireland and continental Europe

There are lots of flights to Girona, thanks to its being one of RyanAir's European 'hubs'. Girona is about an hour's drive south of Perpignan, so if you're heading for southern Languedoc, then it's a pretty good option. Stop on your way at the supermarkets near the border to stock-up on cheap alcohol.

Girona Airport gets increasingly busy thanks to RyanAir's many flights. There is now a large, new car park in the airport itself, and a slightly cheaper car park just outside it (walking distance away).

The airport is very close to the A9 motorway, and so getting to Languedoc is pretty fast and easy.
